Most people never lose their love for the game; they just lose the opportunity. Once you're no longer a kid, staying active becomes a logistical hurdle. It’s harder to find a league, harder to make the time commitment, and harder to find enough people—plus, you usually have to pay for it.

Finding a game shouldn't be harder than playing one. We’ve designed an app that lets you find local pickup games for the sports you love, whenever you want. Play during your free time, without weekly commitment. you can join an existing game or create your own—giving you total control over your schedule and your play.

Beyond the daily grind, we bring the community together through high-energy tournaments in everything from spikeball and volleyball to soccer. Whether you're looking for a casual weekend match or a chance to compete for a trophy, we’re here to unite the community, spark some friendly competition, and make sure everyone has a great time doing it.

Our Vision

It is a paradox of the modern world: we are more 'connected' than ever through social media, yet more sedentary and isolated than any generation before us. IMPEL was created to break that cycle by fostering genuine unity for those who feel alone and inspiring people to get outside. By providing a community to look forward to and a true sense of accomplishment, we turn digital connection into real-world movement.

I grew up in Pleasant View, Utah, in a loving family with two siblings. We enjoyed playing games and sports; my favorite board game is Catan, and I mostly grew up playing soccer. During high school, I was also on the track and XC teams.

After graduating, I went to trade school to get my real estate license and then lived in Portugal for two years while serving my church. I have worked many jobs, from a restaurant dishwasher and substitute teacher to a drone pilot. In my free time, I play guitar, volleyball with friends, and love watching sitcoms. I have a pet fish named Sebastian and am mostly vegetarian; for me, there is nothing better in life than laughing and having fun with the people I love, and that is what made me want to start this business.
